The curriculum focuses on formal school qualifications, but emphasises developing social and analytical skills that empower the girls to negotiate their life options from a position of strength and awareness. The learning materials are designed to resonate with their life experiences.

It was established to help transform migration into a positive opportunity for migrant workers and their families. Their resource centres offer a wide range of services including registration and photo ID, pre-departure counseling, legal aid and education, health services, linkages to social security such as insurance and pension and more.

The Centre for Workers’ Management (CWM) was founded in Delhi in 1991 as a trade union resource and coordination centre. Their core areas of work are Research and Information Dissemination, Leadership Training and Worker Education Programs, Combating Gender-based Violence and Promoting Equitable Workplaces and Promoting Solidarity in the Garment Supply Chain between the Global North and the South.
Grameen Evam Samajik Vikas Sanstha - WOMEN MIGRANTS' RIGHTS - Rajasthan, India - 2021/22
GSVS is working with women workers in Beawar, Rajasthan in stone-crushing industries. They are helping women to collectivise in order to demand improved labour rights and working conditions, especially relating to health and safety. GSVS are monitoring working conditions and working to expose the injustices and the demand that the government supports the workers.
Jeevika - WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT & ENVIRONMENT - West Bengal, India - 2021/22
Jeevika has been working in Sustainable Agriculture since 2008. This year they will continue to pilot a women farmers' empowerment project focusing on Nutrition Gardening. The project uses resourceful strategies to enable women to cultivate fruits and vegetables on very small plots of land. This will create a livelihood opportunity, the sense of doing something on their own, and enable them to have control over their own produce and income. They will be using sustainable methods, such as using household waste to produce organic manure.
Kotda Adivasi Sansthan - WOMEN MIGRANTS' RIGHTS - Rajasthan, India - 2021/22
Working in the Kotra region of Rajasthan, KAS is mobilising tribal women who migrate for employment. They seek to empower the women by educating them about their labour rights and linking them to health and financial services, as well as governmental schemes. They are working with sharecroppers to demand improved rights from their employers.

Kislay is working towards empowering urban informal working women in Delhi slums to take proactive initiative in addressing structural forms of gender oppression and violence, alongside strengthening their participation in local governance by establishing women’s collectives in 15 slum communities.

SPARROW - Sound and Picture Archives for Research on Women is a women's archive that collects oral history and visual material connected with women's lives and experiences. The scope of SPARROW’s work includes the entire South Asian continent and it already has both visual and print material from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh. SPARROW’s ongoing projects include oral history recordings and video recordings of several freedom fighters, educationists, feminists, and activists in various movements.
